Dubai based Zimbabwean business woman and human rights activist, Edith Chibhamu has responded to a statement issued by Zvinavashe family dissociating itself from her.

Below is her response to Zvinavashe family dissociates itself from Edith Chibhamu.

I am shocked at a press statement released by the Zvinavashe family distancing themselves from me. I have never in my life gone to them to beg for food or anything. I have never in my life disgraced myself fighting the innocent widow of the late General for her inheritance that rightfully belong to her.

I have never in my life been part of all the witchcraft they have tried on the innocent widow. What is just surprising is how people are scared of children born out of wedlock. I have always distanced myself from the family because of what I have seen happening to the innocent widow.

I laugh out loud at all this and want to make it very clear that “gentlemen hold your hoses and leave me alone’. I need nothing from you. And I will never need anything from you. I am dedicated to run my own race, I will not try to please anyone but will always remain steadfast to the people I love and to people that reciprocate.

I am kindly asking you not to talk about me, and continue with what you are doing, trying to ruin Margaret Zvinavashe for what her husband left for her.

May you kindly leave me alone or I will embarrass you and expose all the evil things that people tried to do to the late General’s innocent wife.

Margaret has been so strong to survive all your evil machinations, I believe God is protecting her for a reason.

Let me make this clear, YES I will be running my political career, and I don’t need the late General’s endorsement for that. Please leave me out of your business, I am my own self, I have my own path!

I thank and support Margaret for evicting you from her home, you need to shine your eyes and stop that entitlement thing, step out of that phantasmagoria and start building your own empires.- Edith Chibhamu
