Following the publication of our story titled, “Nightmare for Epworth as residents endure endless power blackout” which exposed the unequal electricity distribution between the country’s developed and marginalized communities, work has already been initiated to address the abnormality.

Electrical engineers from ZESA were spotted erecting power transmission infrastructure in the affected parts of the Epworthcommunity.

According to some of the residents who spoke to our news crew, most households had been running without electricity for quite some time owing to the cumbersome and expensive installation process.
