The Citizens Forum has issued a warning on civil society organizations that continue to taint the Zimbabwe’s image in the eyes of the international community promising to protest peacefully if the petitioned organisations do not act within 48 hours.

Addressing the Media in Harare, Citizens Forum threatened to protest peacefully if the petitioned organisations do not act within the given time frame. “We are petitioning them to act in the next 48 hours or else see us reacting peacefully”.

Citizens Forum also urged all Zimbabweans to prioritise Zimbabwe ahead of any other interests. “This is a reminder to all that care to listen that we have to put Zimbabwe first ahead of any other interests, internal or external”

“A serious warning is going to the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition, what is the crisis in Zimbabwe? Another warning is going to every office that have to do with the lives of the people in Zimbabwe, we are petitioning them to act within 48 hours,” read the statement.

We must not allow our country to be a playing ground for foreigners played with by foreign countries and we must co-operate with foreigners operating locally who are paddling whose ambition is to destroy Zimbabwe, hence petitioning local foreigners operating within Zimbabwe.

Citizens Forum issued petitions to the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition, Zimbabwe Media Commission,   Ministry of Public Service and Social Welfare, Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights, Parliament of Zimbabwe, Judicial Service Commission, Zimbabwe republic police, ZCTU, and the law society. The instruction was for them to act on prioritizing the safeguarding Zimbabwe against all forms of abuse by super powers who feel too big for their countries.
