Zimbabwe Citizen Forum co-ordinator Takudzwa called on Zimbabweans to unite and fight sanctions imposed against Zimbabwe by the Unites States which have led to the deterioration of the country’s economy.

Kandishaya made the remarks on Wednesday in the Harare at a press conference his organisation called to address some of the problems affecting Zimbabwe.

“The deterioration of our country’s economy and divisions among citizens of Zimbabwe has been caused by illegal sanctions and opposition parties funded by America.

“Zimbabwe regained its sovereignty back in 2000 by giving land to its citizens. So it is through this programme that has brought us into this situation” Kandishaya said.

He called called on the political leaders to come together with an agenda of resuscitating the deteriorating economy through dialogue and patriotism.

“Political parties leaders must remove their political jackets and come to dialogue. Let us not allow an external hand to solve our problems .SADC and EU acknowledged sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe were affecting everyone,” he added.
